Since Rick and I married in 1982, we have held our OFCO - Other Family Campout. We both come from families of campers, and have camped since our diaper days. Our families also like each other, so the summer we married, my parents, his parents, and various siblings camped together, and we have held the OFCO each summer since.

This year, Mother and Dad K, Pete/Regi/Ryan, and Rick and I camped at Lickdale Campground north of Lebanon, PA. We arrived Thursday evening, set up, and headed to Sandi's Diner with Rick's parents. Pete/Regi/Ryan were there when we got back. We enjoyed the campfire and chatting before bed. Weather was actually cool, as it has been most of the summer.
On Friday, we hung around the campground. Rick and Pete headed for Wal-Mart and an auto store for various supplies. It was so cool, I wore a light sweatshirt all day!
On Saturday, Pete and Regi took me to Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, where we drove around looking at the various area. Very humbling to see all the graves of veterans. We stopped at the Pennsylvania Monument, which is built to look like a bombed-out barn. While there, a large group of Navy Seabees marched up and held a ceremony inside.

The afternoon was our 'family day', when all those who are not camping with us but are able to visit come to spend the day. Becky, Vicki along with Gabriel and Iggy (the dogs), Patti, Heidi and Carly (the dog), Abbie, and Mom and Dad M came to visit. We enjoyed a covered dish dinner. I LOVE having covered dish dinners with my family! There is lots of food that I love (me, being the one who does not like food, finding very little to eat at most covered dish dinners). YUM!
We finished the evening around the campfire again - and enjoyed an awesome sunset

Sunday morning we were up early to head WEST. We were actually about 30 minutes ahead of schedule, hoping to leave about 9:00. As Rick was hooking up, he lowered the windows of the truck. But - the passenger side (mine!) would not go back up. It took 4 of us (Thank you Pete and Regi!!) about 45 minutes to work the window back up. Rick set the lock on it, and it will not be opened until it is fixed :) We finally pulled out and headed WEST about 9:30.

That sunset picture is cool!
